Terms

Last updated 28 October 2026

The short version.

These terms are between you and me, Aniket Parihar, the maker of Little Space. By buying or using the app you agree to them. I've tried to keep them short and fair.

Buying

Little Space is sold through Polar, which acts as the seller (the "merchant of record"). Polar takes the payment, adds VAT where it applies and sends your receipt, under its own terms. The price is shown before you pay. Right after paying, you get a link to download the app.

Your licence

When you buy Little Space, you get a personal licence to use it for as long as you like, at home or at work, on every Mac that you use yourself. Please don't share your copy or your download link with other people, resell it, or try to take the app apart to copy it. If a team or company wants it for several people, each person needs their own copy. Email me and we'll work something out.

Updates

Updates to this version of Little Space are free. If there's ever a big new paid version, the version you bought keeps working, and you don't have to upgrade.

Refunds

If Little Space isn't for you, email me within 14 days of buying and I'll refund the full price. You don't have to give a reason. The refund goes back the way you paid, through Polar, and usually arrives within a few working days.

A note for people in the EU: because Little Space is a digital download, the legal right to cancel ends once the download starts, if you agreed to that at checkout. My 14-day refund applies anyway, so you don't lose anything.

What you need

A Mac with Apple silicon (M1 or newer) running macOS 14 Sonoma or later. iPhone sync needs Apple Notes with iCloud turned on, on both your Mac and your iPhone.

Your notes

Everything you write belongs to you. I can't see it and I don't claim any rights to it. Your notes live on your Mac, so they're as safe as your Mac is. Please back up your Mac, for example with Time Machine. How your data is handled is explained on the privacy page.

If something goes wrong

I test Little Space carefully and use it every day, but like any software it can have bugs. If you find one, please tell me and I'll do my best to fix it quickly.

I'm fully responsible if I cause harm on purpose or through gross negligence, and for injury to life, body or health. For ordinary mistakes, I'm only responsible for damage that was typical and foreseeable, and at most up to the price you paid. Your legal rights as a consumer, including the warranty rights in German law, are not affected by these terms.

Changes and law

If I change these terms, I'll update this page and the date at the top. The terms you agreed to when you bought stay in place for that purchase. German law applies, as long as that doesn't take away the protection the law of your own country gives you as a consumer.
